The Conrad P. Foss Live Period Academic Showcase is underway from the Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Gainesville, FL. Collegiate coaches from across the country and from all levels were in attendance. Here are some of the standouts from the 2027 class from the event.

Carson Crawford (2027) Fleming Island: The 6’7 Crawford holds multiple Division 1 offers. Coming off a showing in the Pangos All American Camp in early June, he continued to show why he is a coveted recruit. He is a walking highlight who finishes above the rim with forceful dunks and a walking double-double. He has length, good ball handling skills, rebounds at a high level and scores from all three levels. Defensively, no shots are safe as he can alter and block shots even from the weak side.

Neomar Flores (2027) Tampa Catholic: Flores is a dynamic 5’11” point guard who excels in transition and keeps defenses off balance with his ability to attack the rim or pull up from the perimeter. He also creates for others while engineering the offense, recording multiple-assist games to go with his 14-point average in the games observed. Defensively, he competes with energy despite his size, using his high motor to generate deflections and steals.

Ayden Donald (2027) Tampa Catholic: Do not let the 6’1 frame fool you, Donald is attacks the rim with bad intentions for opponents and routinely finishes through contact. He possesses quickness and speed which is a lethal combination for a guard that knows how to get downhill. Donald can score from the perimeter with a quick release (splashed in five three-pointers in games observed) or engineer the offense and drop off dimes to teammates.

Dwayne Francis (2027) Booker T. Washington: Francis is a 6’3 guard that has a knack for scoring in a variety of ways. He showcased that with a 23-point effort in tough loss to Boca Ciega. He runs the floor well, finishes above the rim, knocks down perimeter shots and is a willing passer. Defensively he uses his length to go with the constant pressure he applies to disrupt opponents.

Jacob Bromirski (2027) Buchholz: Bromirski continues to improve in all facets of his game. Over the course of the event, he averaged just under 19 points and two assists. He uses his 6’4 frame to his advantage to get his shot up over defenders, can blow by defenders for dunks or soft finishes at the rim-especially going baseline. He scored effectively from all three levels and is an excellent catch-and-shoot shooter. He plays with high IQ, makes sound decisions and his poise are key elements to his overall game.

Preston Antoine (2027) Stranahan: Antoine is a 5’11” guard who impacts the game on both ends. His quickness helps him create space for his jumper, get to the rim, and knock down catch-and-shoot opportunities with a quick release. In the three games observed, he made nine three-pointers and averaged 18.6 points. He plays under control, sees the floor well, moves effectively without the ball, and shows solid footwork defensively.
