FABC Boys Regional c/o 2027 Standouts (Part 1)

The Conrad P. Foss Live Period Academic Showcase is underway from the Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Gainesville, FL. Collegiate coaches from across the country and from all levels were in attendance. Here are some of the standouts from the 2027 class from the event.

Henry Robinson Jr (2027) Pine Ridge: Robinson is a bona fide scorer who makes it look easy. The 6’8” forward can score in a variety of ways, shooting comfortably from the perimeter and finishing above the rim with powerful dunks. He also communicates well, rebounds effectively, and impacts the game defensively by altering and blocking shots. In his final game, he scored 23 points in just two quarters.

Matthew Williams (2027) Bartow: Williams made timely plays throughout the weekend, highlighted by a game-winning banked three-pointer in a win over Coral Glades. His aggressive offensive style consistently pressured the defense, and he stayed active defensively by battling for loose balls and rebounding well for his size. In the three games observed, he averaged 8.3 points and 5 rebounds while making multiple impactful plays on both ends.

Orlando Roche (2027) Belen Jesuit: Roche capped a 35-point performance with a spinning, one-handed dunk in the closing minutes. The finish surprised many observers, especially after he had already knocked down five three-pointers from all over the floor. He moves well without the ball, rebounds effectively, plays sound defense, and competes relentlessly. In the two games observed, he averaged 26 points, made six three-pointers, and helped lead Belen Jesuit to a 3-1 record.

Christian Fuller (2027) Victory Christian (Lakeland): Fuller is a quick, shifty guard who attacks the basket and finishes through contact. He can score off the catch or off the dribble and uses his vision to create easy opportunities for teammates. Defensively, he is active with his hands and turns defensive stops into offense. His standout performance was a 27-point game with multiple assists and steals in a win over Andrew Jackson.

Damari Foster (2027) Stranahan: Foster is a savvy guard who attacks the paint, shoots well from the perimeter, and consistently makes the extra pass. He uses his strong ballhandling to create scoring chances for himself and his teammates, and he applies constant pressure defensively. In the two games observed, he averaged 15.5 points, highlighted by an 18-point performance against Oak Ridge, with 16 of those points coming in the second half.
